Volunteers will be working hard from 1-5 p.m. on a variety of projects to continue to ready Papa&#8217;s Pumpkin Patch for their opening on September 13. The day of love and labor will be followed by an appreciation dinner for all those who helped by donating their time, money or goods at 5 p.m.</p>

<p><strong>IT&#8217;S NOT TO LATE TO GET INVOLVED</strong><br />
The items gathered at the Drop-Day event are a start to getting the Patch ready for opening day on September 13, but more community support is needed. You can still help the Patch by donating:</p>

<li><strong>DOLLARS</strong> &#8211; Cash donations for Patching the Patch are being accepted at all American Bank Center locations. Cash donations can also be mailed to Patching the Patch, 1822 Xavier St, Bismarck ND  58501.</li>
<li><strong>STUFF</strong> &#8211; Items found on <a href="http://www.patchingthepatch.com/category/wishlist/">Papa&#8217;s Wish List </a>are still needed. If you&#8217;d like to donate <em>stuff</em> please contact Jane Greer at 701-258-2747 to make arrangements.</li>
<li><strong>LABOR</strong> &#8211; Muscles are still needed for the Patching the Patch labor event to be held on August 22. A fire on April 29, 2009, destroyed a large building containing critical equipment and supplies. The Pumpkin Patch is committed to opening on schedule Sept. 13, 2009, and friends of the Pumpkin Patch are working to help replace what was lost in the fire.</p>
<p>Patching the Patch is holding a Drop-Off event on Sunday, May 31 from 1-5 p.m. at Jaycee Centennial Park in Bismarck. Papa&#8217;s Pumpkin Patch has provided a <em>wish list</em> of items lost in the fire. Gently used or new items will be welcomed at the event, along with cash donations. Cash donations and checks made out to &#8220;Patching the Patch&#8221; are also being accepted at American Bank Center, Bismarck.</p>
